Life at Love How DeepJune is a beautiful month filled with flowers blooming, green grass growing, and trees full of lush leaves. It takes all of the rain we've endured here in Virginia to make it happen! The result is lovely as we see God's creation as an incredible work of art. Just like nature blooms in the spring and summer, our marriages can bloom and grow. This is what we want for you. Marriage isn't for the weak because it takes work. What once was easy (those sweet dating days followed by the honeymoon phase), now takes focus, determination, and constant care. We want to challenge you to choose one thing you will do to enhance your marriage and do it every day with the same focus, determination, and care that you take with your children, career, or hobby. What do you need to step away from? What can you begin to do? Can you choose to honestly and lovingly say "I love you with all my heart" everyday and mean it? Will you choose to walk away from your own desires to pitch in a helping hand whenever you see your spouse doing chores? What if you took your husband or wife by the hands and said "let's pray together?" What if you chose to hold your tongue with the help of God? Could choosing one thing make a difference in the health of your marriage? It can't hurt and that is your challenge! Make the new thing a habit. We want you to enjoy your marriage even with all of the ups and downs of life. This can be the best relationship you've ever had. Put on those gardening gloves and get to work!
